Comunitaria was created to have a positive impact on the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods by benefiting small stores and helping people at risk of social exclusion. In doing so, Comunitaria contributes to certain sustainable development objectives:
We increase the wealth of neighbourhoods by circulating money through local stores
We achieve food security , especially for the most vulnerable children, by providing them with healthier and more nutritious fresh food
We promote female leadership . Women from the neighbourhood collaborate with us in exchange for remuneration in the form of illas
We create local energy communities and ensure access to renewable energy for the local community
Economic growth of poor neighborhoods by promoting the only valuable economic resource they have: their neighborhood stores
We reduce food inequalities and increase social inclusion by promoting local employment
